A Different Kind of Partnership. A Stronger Kind of Support.
The Battram Community Fund was founded with one goal: to reinvest in the people and places that make Central Pennsylvania strong. What makes our story unique is how we’re able to do that.

BCF was created by Northway Industries, a local manufacturer that shares our community-first vision. Today, the fund owns 100% of Northway Industries—meaning the company’s profits directly support the scholarships, grants, and opportunities we offer each year.
This partnership creates a powerful, sustainable model:
-
Northway provides stable, meaningful jobs
-
Profits flow into the Battram Community Fund
-
BCF returns that value to the community through giving

Every scholarship awarded and every grant funded is made possible by the people and performance of Northway Industries. Together, we’re building a cycle of local impact that lasts.
Community
Our priority areas include youth-related projects, education, veterans, and women's issues in Snyder, Union, and Northumberland counties.

Jobs
We collaborate with local school districts and career technical institutions to encourage and train individuals interested in a wood products manufacturing career.
